Youngshin works closely with David Hamilton, coordinating the global initiative OBT 1000, aiming at starting a Bible translation project in 1000 languages in the next five years. She led an Oral Bible Translation School in Togo and is preparing to lead another one in 2021. It will be offered simultaneously in five different countries. Several Bible translation projects in Africa and Vietnam took place under her leadership. She also staffs the MA in Applied Linguistics.
